Calendar
One blueprint for the year — instructional days, holidays, teacher work days, make-up Fridays, and grading periods, filterable by course.
This is the master plan for the Beta Academy school year, the same backbone every course in the Studio is paced against. Filter by course to follow a single track, switch between a month grid and a running agenda, and print a clean copy for the fridge.
How Assessments & Homework Appear
The structure of the year is fixed here. The day-to-day work flows in on top of it.
The school-year backbone above — instructional days, breaks, and grading periods — is set. Assessment, homework, and project events are authored by Dr. Ijezie in the STEM Studio admin portal, tagged by course, and layer onto the matching dates — multi-day items span their full range. Filter by a course to follow a single track. If no events have been posted yet (or while the calendar is briefly offline), this page simply shows the school year — events appear here automatically once added. Quiz, test, and project dates are also posted on ParentSquare.
Planning the Week
A calendar tells you what is due and when. A plan decides how.
Own Your Week
Each Sunday, look ahead at the week. Break large projects into daily steps, and tackle the most important task first. Studying in short, focused blocks beats marathon cramming.
Partner in Success
A weekly fifteen-minute check-in — “What’s your plan this week?” — paired with a quiet, consistent study space does more than any single reminder. Celebrate the preparation, not just the grade.
