What this is. The Scholar's Ascent Learning Portal is a practice and assessment tool for your scholar's math class. All content is TEKS-aligned and follows the district curriculum. It lets scholars practice quizzes and tests ahead of time, and see their own progress and mastery by Texas standard. It is a measure of learning support — not a replacement for classroom instruction, and the school gradebook remains the grade of record.

Two quick agreements Both required Enrollment consent. I give permission for my scholar to use The Scholar's Ascent Learning Portal for math assessments and practice this year, and I understand how it will be used, as described above and in the Privacy Policy. Grade 1 Syllabus acknowledgment. I have reviewed and agree to the course syllabus for this math course. Grade 2 Request my Guardian account. I have reviewed and accept the Privacy Policy and Guardian Agreement, including the limited release, guardian indemnification, mandatory individual arbitration unless I opt out within 30 days, jury-trial waiver, and class-action waiver, for a read-only window into my scholar's scores, missing work, and mastery progress. The teacher must approve this request before access begins. Optional

Beta Academy classroom-use notice: For Scholars personally taught by Dr. Goodluck Ijezie-Desbois, the Assessment Center is the leadership-approved instructional software of choice and classroom use is required. The Guardian account and weekly digest remain optional. Valid concerns receive prompt review, attempted resolution, and a requested meeting if needed; if no satisfactory agreement is reached, the school and family may consider program removal. The Scholar's Ascent remains an independent provider; Beta Academy policies, school records, and the school gradebook control.
