Geometry asks scholars to construct precisely, justify with proof, and connect figures to algebra across five modules of the TEA Bluebonnet Learning curriculum. Process standards G.1A–G.1G run throughout. No STAAR EOC for Geometry — mastery is assessed locally via teacher-built unit tests and benchmarks aligned to the TEKS.
Compass · protractor · straightedge/ruler · patty paper · graph paper · school Chromebook (GeoGebra/Desmos) · interactive notebook · pencils.

ParentSquare is the primary channel. Beta is a no-cell-phone campus. A syllabus pop-quiz in the first two weeks counts toward the Classwork grade.
The reasoning must be your own. Collaboration is encouraged in Build Teams; copying proofs or answers, or submitting tool-generated work as your own, violates integrity (per the Beta handbook).
Begin the warm-up on entry · notebook open daily · use your team role · Materials Manager returns all tools · complete the exit ticket before dismissal.
All graded work lives in the Assessment Center. Assignments are due when they are due and late work is not accepted. The one exception is a documented, excused absence, which lets a scholar request to complete the work; requesting is not the same as being granted.
Scholars with an IEP or 504 plan receive every accommodation in that plan, in full and automatically — including extended time, which the portal applies to the timer before the assessment starts. This is a legal right, not a favor, and never something to ask for. The late-work rule above applies only after that accommodation has been fully honored; anything past it needs prior arrangement, made before the deadline rather than after.
Sign-in is period + alias + an 8-character PIN. Write it in your planner and AVID binder and never share it. PIN resets happen during school hours, in person — a forgotten PIN does not move a deadline. Retakes are requested in the Assessment Center's Retake tab (root cause, reflection, commitment); Standard retakes are limited to one per grading period, an approved retake may carry a score cap, and it replaces the original attempt. A regrade disputes one question's scoring and is limited to one request per question, ever.
Have your scholar teach you one thing they proved each week, keep ParentSquare on, and celebrate persistence over speed.
